LEARN TO DISCERN

“LEARN TO DISCERN”

Now the spirit speaketh expressly (distinctively), that in the latter times (in the last of the last days) some shall depart (abandon) from the faith, giving heed (paying attention) to seducing spirits (deceiving spirits, impostors), and doctrines of devils (demons); I Tim. 4:1. The Apostle Paul warns the church about another Jesus, another spirit, and another gospel which is not authentic (II Cor. 11:3, 4, 13-15).

These warnings ought to be heeded with great caution today, as when spoken by the Apostle Paul yesterday. Let us learn to discern the truth from a lie by studying to know God’s word (Jn. 8:31, 32; Acts 17:10, 11; II Tim. 2:15). Remember Paul’s words to the Galatian church; “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from Him (Christ Jesus), that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel(Gal. 1:6-9; II Tim. 4:3, 4). Be careful who you listen too!
