It has been prophesied by the prophet Isaiah that the Messiah (the Christ), one day would come to save the world from sin (Isa. 7:14; 9:6). That prophecy was fulfilled when Jesus the Christ (the anointed one) was born, crucified and raised from the dead (Acts 4:27; 10:38; Rom. 4:25).

We sing “Joy to the World” because of the of the gospel of Jesus Christ (Lk. 2:10, 12). Let’s remember the reason for the season and give the greatest gift of all, JESUS (Eph. 2:8, 9). “Joy to the World, the Lord has come”, and is coming again!
