WHAT JESUS SAID ABOUT HELL

“WHAT JESUS SAID ABOUT HELL”

Have you ever given any serious thought to what Jesus said about hell?  Many people believe that hell is just a figure of speech for the hardships of life that they go through (some say, “I’m going through hell on my job”.  Not hardly!).  Hell is a real place whether you believe it or not.  Hell (or hades, which is the proper name in Greek) was a place that was prepared for the devil and demons (fallen angels), not people (Matt. 25:41).  However people go there because of the sin of rejecting Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior.

Here is what Jesus said about hell; “You serpents, you generation of vipers (snakes) how can you escape the (judgment) of hell” (Matt. 23:33).  Just think, when Jesus said this he was talking to hypocritical religious people.  The bible says, “How shall we escape, if we neglect so great of salvation”… (which is only through Jesus; Heb. 2:3).  My friends, “Jesus is the way, the truth and the life” (Jn. 14:6).  Without Him as Lord and Savior, you’ll spend eternity in the Lake of Fire (Rev. 20:10 – 14).  May the Good Lord open your eyes to his truth!
