“GOD IS NO RESPECTER OF PERSONS”
Our God (Jesus Christ; Jn. 20:28) loves all people (Jn. 3:16, 17) especially his own. He is the personification of love manifested in the flesh (Jn.1:1, 14; I Jn. 1:1 – 3; 4:7, 8; Rev. 19:13). When we received Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior, we were born of his nature and entered into a covenant relationship with him, (Jn. 3:5 – 7; II Cor. 5:17; I Pet. 1:23) his love was poured into our hearts (Rom. 5:5). We are supposed to demonstrate his love for all people because he died for all people.
How did Jesus treat people? Did he discriminate against them? Did he judge the book by the cover? Was he partial? What about you and me? Are we respecters of persons? I challenge you to read Gal. 3:26 – 29 and Acts 10:34, Rom. 2:11, James 2:1 – 13. “He that hath ears to hear, let him hear!”
