Because we were born in the US ((United States), we are legal citizens with rights that non – citizens don’t have.  Because we are born again, we have a heavenly citizenship with rights and benefits far greater than what the U S can offer (Jn. 3:3 – 6; Rom. 8:32; Phil. 3:20; Ps.68:19; 103:2).  Remember as a new creation in – Christ Jesus, we are identified with him, in his death, burial, and resurrection.  As he (Jesus) is, so are we in this world; I Jn. 4:17.
