Pastor Louis E. Dixon, Sr. accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior in 1977 as a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. While under the pastoral care of Rev. J.E. Graves, Pastor Louis became a Jr. Deacon. After faithfully serving as a Jr. Deacon, Pastor Louis was asked if he would consider being on the Trustee Board.
In 1977 Pastor Louis met his beautiful bride to be Pamela Buckner while she was a student at Michigan State University. After Pamela graduated from MSU in 1980, the two were married at Mt. Zion Baptist Church by the late Rev. J.E. Graves.
After Serving at Mt. Zion 3 years, Pastor Louis and Pamela (and newly born son, Louis Jr.) were led by the Spirit of God to join Living Word Outreach Church under the leadership of Pastors Charles and Ruth McGill. Pastor Louis served in many different areas of ministry such as: a worship leader in the music department, teaching evangelism classes, membership classes, prison & men’s ministry and others.
In 1987, Pastor Louis accepted his calling into the ministry. It was in 1993 that he attended B.T.I. at Mt. Hope Church in Lansing, MI. In 2007, Pastors Louis and Pamela were led by the Spirit of God to start Abundant Grace Faith Church (AGFC). AGFC is a Non-Denominational Church that is multi-cultural (whosoever will, let him/her come). Pastor Louis is an anointed Holy Spirit led pastor that teaches the uncompromised word of faith and focuses on marriage, family, and the power of the Holy Spirit and last but not least, the power of “PRAYER” (good things happen when God’s people pray).
Pastors Louis and Pamela are the parents of three wonderful children, Louis Jr., Lydia and LaTasha, daughter in-law Natalie, sons-in-law Kevin and Jaylon, five grandchildren Lailah, Leah, LaTrell, Louis III and Landon.
