Pamela Dixon was born in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated from Muskegon High School in 1976 and received her BA in Communications at Michigan State University in 1980. In 1980, Pamela married Louis E. Dixon, Sr. and they have 3 lovely children, Louis Jr., Lydia and LaTasha, daughter in-law Natalie, sons-in-law Kevin and Jaylon, five grandchildren, Lailah, Leah, LaTrell, Louis III and Landon.

In 1978, Pamela rededicated her life to the Lord and joined the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.  At Mt. Zion Miss. Baptist Church, Pamela served as an Usher and worked as the Church Clerk.

In 1981, Pamela and family began attending Living Word Outreach Church.  She served in the nursery and taught the pre-school and 1st through 6th grade classes twice a month for over 10 years.  At LWOC, Pamela completed various courses:  How to Study the Bible, Effective Teaching and Preaching, Evangelism, Leadership Training and attended various Conferences and Children’s Ministry Seminars.  Pamela and Pastor Louis have held Bible Studies and TLC meetings in their home.

In 1991 Pamela was hired at LWOC as the Children’s Minister and worked for 3 years.  At LWOC, Pamela counseled children and women having difficulty in their family and/or marriage.  In 2006, Pamela returned to work as the Children Minister and has taught several leadership classes and trained workers to become successful leaders in ministry.  Pamela has taught several courses: How to Study the Bible, How to Become a Better You, Marriage Matters – Love & Respect and Will the Real Me Please Stand.

In January 2007, the Lord impressed upon Pastor Louis and First Lady Pamela’s heart to begin making preparations to start Abundant Grace Faith Church that was founded in March of 2007.  First Lady/Pastor Pamela has always had a heart for children and women. She is straight forward in teaching the uncompromising Word of God. Her main emphasis today is women honoring God’s order in marriage and family.
